Originally from Singapore, Dinesh Loganathan moved to Tasmania and completed a Bachelor of Law and Business at the University of Tasmania. He was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 2017 and to the High Court of Australia in 2019.

He commenced his legal career at a boutique Tasmanian law firm, where he played a key role in the firm’s growth and expansion and developed broad experience across criminal, commercial, and civil litigation matters.

As a migrant himself, Dinesh has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by newcomers to Australia and remains committed to supporting and amplifying migrant voices through his legal work.
